VON TESLA
Cult name of the Italian underground and also noted exponent of the more forward-thinking fringes of IDM on an international scale, he’s been taking us on a journey through other dimensions for more than a decade with his lysergic live shows and his releases for Boring Machines and Enklav.
For our project, he opened up his box of sounds used during his shows during these last few years, between galactic blips, drones and noise.
"I made most of the samples collected here with the Nord Modular G2 and then I used them with the MPC1000.
I never start with a precise idea and so I don't have my own workflow, I mainly use synthetic samples that I record in long improvised sessions with the G2 and that I then cut or re-emerge several times".
